Successfully digitize in small and medium-sized businesses: Digitalforum Saar 2023 has shown how it works

Full house at the Digitalforum Saar 2023. With around 130 participants, the event was fully booked last Friday and thus a complete success for the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Saarbrücken.

The Digital Forum, which took place on 10 February at ZeMA, offered medium-sized companies a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends and successful practices in the field of digitization. The aim of the Digital Forum Saar was to support small and medium-sized enterprises in their digital transformation and thus secure their future viability. “The business landscape in the Saarland region is strongly affected by structural change, especially in the automotive and supplier industries. The digital transformation offers companies the opportunity to optimize their processes and develop new, sustainable business models. By funding the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Saarbrücken can support small and medium-sized enterprises in their transformation process", says Dr Anna Christmann, Commissioner of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection for Digital Economy and Start-ups.

 

The inspiring program included lectures on current trends in digitalization in medium-sized companies, an impressive success story from practice and interactive quizzes on the topic of digitalization. In addition, a marketplace with exhibitors provided an excellent opportunity for exchange and networking. The Pecha-Kucha session on innovation and production as well as low-code low-programming development was a special highlight. You could find out more at thematic tables on various key topics of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Saarbrücken, including office digitization, adaptable assembly, smart sensors, energy and resources, artificial intelligence, corporate culture and IT security.
