AI trainer of KomZetSaar at the Federal Government's Digital Summit

On 30 November 2020, KomZetSaar was represented with several contributions at the Federal Government's online Digital Summit.

Dirk Burkhard, AI trainer at KomZetSaar, presented the support of the AI trainers active since June 2019 in the SME Digital funding programme to the audience of the Digital Summit. The introduction to the show made a video on support services provided by AI trainers throughout Germany.

One of these offers was used by the special machine manufacturer WOLL Maschinenbau to prevent the shortage of skilled workers in the company. By supporting the AI trainers of KomZetSaar, an AI expert system was created that documents expert knowledge and makes it available to other employees in a reproducible manner. The expert system supports the employee in the selection of suitable technologies for material labelling. Together with Karl-Joseph Schmidt (WOLL Maschinenbau), Dirk Burkhard reported on the funding opportunities for the introduction of AI technologies and on the methodological procedure for the successful implementation of the implementation project.
