In this context, Prime Minister Tobias Hans stressed that, particularly with regard to the transformation process in the automotive sector, he is committed to further networking the ‘outstanding structures that we have here in Saarland with our first-class research institutions’. In addition to alternative, low-emission drive technology such as fuel cells and battery cell technology, he also gave high potential to digital technologies as well as artificial intelligence and networked production.
These are all topics that are flanked by the ZeMA and are currently being greatly expanded. For this reason, ZeMA was also represented with an exhibition stand this year and was given the opportunity to present current research topics in the field of automated vehicle commissioning as well as scalable, cyber-physical production systems for fuel cell stacks to the hosts, the Prime Minister and speakers and interested parties.
We would like to thank you for the successful event and look forward to participating again next year.
