These include, among other things, the digitization of production, energy, securing skilled workers, industry and promotion as well as infrastructure and settlement policy. A contribution to this strategy and to securing the location of production in the Saarland is the Saarland Competence Centre for innovative production technologies in the context of Industry 4.0 \u2018Power4Production\u2019, which started operations in October 2015.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang Wahlster (DFKI) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer M\u00fcller (ZeMA). Through the equal cooperation and the research priorities of both partners, Power4Production brings together information and communication technologies as well as innovative production technologies.<br \/>\nThe main focus of the industry is on the automotive industry and its suppliers. The focus of the Centre's work is on innovative production technologies, including the following topics:<br \/>\n\u2022 Networking of product and production environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Human-robot
