One-stop shop for \u2018industrial\u2019 AI in Saarland\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Union-funded project EDIH Saarland, in which the Center for Mechatronics and Automation Technology ZeMA gGmbH has the consortium management, <\/span>has set itself the goal of becoming the European focal point for digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the Saarland over the next three years, with radiance to the greater region and in Europe. In the long term, this will create a \u2018hub\u2019 for the digitalisation and application of artificial intelligence (AI) for companies. The aim is to provide relevant expertise for the practical transfer of industrial AI in the Saarland, the Greater Region (Saar-Lor-Lux) and in Europe.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Saarland Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digital and Energy (MWIDE) promotes this European positioning in Saarland. Here, the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) Saarland will \"effectively advance the digital transformation in the Saar economy in a European network\".<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Partners and expertise at the EDIH Saarland\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The<\/span> EDIH Saarland <\/span>bundles excellence in transfer, research and innovation and consists of five project partners: <\/span>The Center for Mechatronics and Automation Technology <\/span>gGmbH <\/span>(<\/span>ZeMA<\/span>, <\/span>Prof.<\/span> Dr.-Ing.<\/span> Rainer M\u00fcller, <\/span>Consortium<\/span>line<\/span>), <\/span>August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute for Digital Products and Processes <\/span>gGmbH <\/span>(<\/span>AWSi<\/span>), <\/span>German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), East Side Fab e.V. (ESF) <\/span>and <\/span>saarland.innovation&location<\/span> e.V.<\/span> (<\/span>saaris<\/span>)<\/span>.<\/span> All partners provide their expertise and infrastructure to accelerate the digital transformation and innovation in the region and to bring Saarland into the region. <\/span>emerging <\/span>European innovation <\/span>Ecosystem<\/span> to be involved.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
