Des recherches sont en cours sur les couches minces en forme de sandwich contenant du m\u00e9tal et du carbone pour la fabrication des \u00e9lectrodes, ainsi que sur de nouveaux types d'applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Le projet est une collaboration entre la chaire des syst\u00e8mes de mat\u00e9riaux intelligents sous la direction du professeur Seelecke de l'Universit\u00e9 de la Sarre et le groupe de recherche Sensorik und Dunlayntechnik sous la direction du professeur Schultes de la Hochschule f\u00fcr Technik und Wirtschaft des efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et leur facilit\u00e9 d'utilisation en tant qu'actionneurs et capteurs. Cependant, les applications pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes se situent plut\u00f4t dans le domaine macroscopique. La miniaturisation de cette technologie ouvrirait de nouveaux champs d'application et conduirait \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes dot\u00e9s de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Une attention particuli\u00e8re est accord\u00e9e aux applications m\u00e9dico-techniques et \u00e0 l'interaction homme-machine. On peut imaginer, par exemple, des pompes, des vannes et des capteurs de pression peu co\u00fbteux pour les syst\u00e8mes Lab-on-a-Chip dans le domaine m\u00e9dical.<br \/>\nMais des panneaux de commande (touch screens) avec une topologie reconfigurable ou des commandes gestuelles (par exemple \u00e0 l'aide de gants) sont \u00e9galement envisageables avec cette technique.<br \/>\nDans les deux cas, un feedback haptique peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 pour donner \u00e0 l'op\u00e9rateur une r\u00e9ponse m\u00e9caniquement palpable.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"hr-thin m\u00e9canismes de pr\u00e9contrainte miniaturis\u00e9s sont n\u00e9cessaires pour la conception du syst\u00e8me, d'autre part. L'AG Schultes se concentre en particulier sur le premier et la deuxi\u00e8me partie est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par l'AG Seelecke.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la recherche fondamentale sur la miniaturisation des syst\u00e8mes de capteurs et d'actionneurs \u00e9lectro-actifs. \u00c0 partir des prototypes actuels en cm, des dimensions en mm et plus petites sont recherch\u00e9es. Dans le m\u00eame temps, la base technologique pour de nouvelles applications d'actionneurs et de capteurs doit \u00eatre \u00e9largie. La r\u00e9solution des \u00e9l\u00e9ments contr\u00f4lables (pixels) pourrait donc \u00eatre consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9e. D'une part, la conception du syst\u00e8me est trait\u00e9e en explorant des assemblages de tableaux appropri\u00e9s avec des m\u00e9canismes de pr\u00e9contrainte m\u00e9caniques miniaturis\u00e9s. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de pr\u00e9contrainte bistables m\u00e9caniquement, r\u00e9alisables \u00e0 base de polym\u00e8re, qui sortent du plan de la feuille, constituent la base de l'\u00e9l\u00e9ment pour les diff\u00e9rents pixels.<\/p>\n<p>D'autre part, de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux et m\u00e9thodes de fabrication des \u00e9lectrodes conformes sont \u00e9tudi\u00e9s. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de rev\u00eatement par plasma (pulv\u00e9risation) permettent d'appliquer de fines couches conductrices m\u00e9tal-carbone de l'ordre du nanom\u00e8tre. La structuration de ces couches doit \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide d'un laser \u00e0 ultra-court terme. L'accent est mis en particulier sur la fabrication des films composites, la conception compl\u00e8te du syst\u00e8me jusqu'aux m\u00e9canismes d'actionnement, leur mod\u00e9lisation, leur mesure et leur caract\u00e9risation. La r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l'application est donn\u00e9e par de nombreux projets de coop\u00e9ration de l'industrie. Le groupe de recherche du professeur G. Schultes, quant \u00e0 lui, apporte un savoir-faire de longue date en mati\u00e8re de capteurs, de fabrication et de microstructuration de couches minces et de conception de capteurs de force et de pression. L'exp\u00e9rience et les r\u00e9sultats de la recherche sur les couches minces de capteurs hautement sensibles sp\u00e9cialement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es au sein du groupe de travail constituent la base des \u00e9lectrodes EAP.
