Fuel cell technology at ZeMA – Prof. Rainer Müller talks about research and development

Since August last year, the Saarland is officially HyExpert hydrogen model region. In this context, eleven working groups led by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Transport have started their work on hydrogen-related projects. ZeMA coordinates the progress within Working Group 5, which examines the use of hydrogen in industry. Together with consortium partners from industry and research, two research proposals dealing with the topic of cyber-physical production systems for hydrogen technologies such as fuel cells and electrolysers have already been completed and submitted by March 2021. Further applications are already under preparation.
