The ZeMA - Centre for Mechatronics and Automation Technology is developing to SEI - Saarland Engineering Institute. This marks the start of a new chapter for research, innovation and education in Saarland.
The SEI links engineering sciences even more closely with computer science, natural sciences and other disciplines such as medicine. The aim is to pool competencies, bring innovations into practice faster and actively shape the transformation of the Saarland.
“The further development to the Saarland Engineering Institute is based on interdisciplinary cooperation. The key is to bundle the diverse competencies even more, to create new synergies and to make common research priorities visible. In this way, we not only strengthen our innovative strength, but also increase the international perception of the location far beyond the Saarland borders.", says Prof. Dr. Susan Pulham and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paul Motzki, Managing Director of the SEI
Further development has begun and we are transforming step by step. Be curious!
